Ahhh, those tight twisty stairwells - I remember them well! They're *everywhere* in Germany and the NL. Lots of fun if you have large luggage.
When you go to Munich, one of the bigger churches, I forget which one now - possibly the Frauenkirche - has a display which reads something to the effect of "Will sound an alarm if an atheist touches this" - or so Anja translated for me. I made a point of touching the table. XD
I remember that iron maiden without the spikes (and its explanation). I cringed at the displays of "the pear."
