Nap Attack

I lay on the bed a moment "to think" and I've lost an hour and a half.

This is why I don't do naps. It just isn't possible to wake up twice in one day. I feel decidedly disgusting, inside and out, and am certainly no longer in any condition "to think".

  1. My wife thrives on naps. A quick half hour snooze and she feels great. I always end up feeling even more tired after a nap.

  2. I like powernaps (and sometimes I have no choice when I'm up at 4:40am on a regular basis), but the maximum I can do is one hour, or I wind up groggy for the rest of the day. Sometimes all I need to do is lean back in my chair and close my eyes for fifteen minutes - even if I don't sleep, that gets me a couple more hours of life.
