Ah, Gigi, you caught me. It is. But sometimes the creepy boys have to go home so mum can cook them dinner, and I have to fill the time somehow...
Terry, the list goes - Jose Gonzalez, Iron & Wine (couldn't wait to get home to get those albums), 65 Days of Static, Mice Parade, The Bird and the Bee, Lily Chou Chou, Pinback, The Brilliant Green, Dragon Ash, something I thought was Toy but that was actually the album name, The Pillows, Late Night Tales (Nouvelle Vague), Imogen Heap, The Go! Team, Patrick Wolf, Utada Hikaru, and Mono. Most of those artists I bought multiple albums of. Plus a whole lot of sound tracks.
God, I hesitate (but, as you may know of me already, I find the thought exciting realy) to add that I think May last year was the first time I broke the 100 CDs in a month mark? I think I hit 106 even. Quite ouch. Last weekend, I took home 34 CDs after a particularly exciting day. I should add that these bouts are getting rarer and rarer, as I've hit a wall fo sorts with music amassing; I guess this happens after several thousand records and almost the same amount of CDs? Uh huh. Yah, I know, I know, get my own damn blog...
Answer: of course not. That stack would be far more impressive if I'd been serious about it.
ReplyDeleteWhat Kinda CDs did you get??
ReplyDeleteOi! I thought it was all about reading comics backwards and having creepy boys follow you around...? NO?!?!
ReplyDeleteSheesh.

ReplyDeleteJem, to house and hear all the music you buy you'd have to fuck with space and time. Natch.
