WANTED: one proofreader. Now. As given a recent reminder that I suck at proofreading, I do not trust myself. Story at 3,500 words, and involves privateers.

  1. I'm pretty sure I promised to proofread, but I can't do anything till next week. Life is fraught. Not fraught in a bad way, but a bit rabidly busy. I'm citizen-jurying for three days and all my free time has evaporated.

If you can't get anyone else, then email it to me Sunday night and I'll do it early next week. If you *can* get someone else we'll both heave a sigh of relief.

  2. Thanks, Gillian. I admit there's no actual rush for this, I'm just sick to death of these two stories and have the burning urge to get rid of them right now.

    But without typos.

And I have to remember how to write a cover letter first.

    Have fun with your jurying.

  4. Yeah, but you just read the behemoth, I can't ask you to read another one so soon. That'd....use up my "READ THIS FOR ME RIGHT NOOOOOOOOOOW!" points with you.

  6. Add me to the list of folks who will look for misplaced commas and dangling participles.

  7. Gigi, you have volunteered, and must now accept your fate.
